3. Eelection monitoring in ECOWAS member States;

5. Covering issues relating to ECOWAS Community Levy;
6. Covering meetings relating to ECOWAS Small Arms Control Programme (ECOSAP) and the activities of the National Committee on Small Arms Light Weapons. Preparation of briefs on all NATCOM matters;
7. Maritime Security Zone and CORESMO etc;
8. Liaison with the Political Affairs, Peace and Security Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
9. Covering the activities of the Community Court of Justice;
10. Covering the activities of the Community Parliament; and
11. Liaison with the Office of the President and the Vice President of the ECOWAS Commission.

1. Covering Council of Ministers Meetings. Liaising with MDAs and ECOWAS Institutions;
2. Covering meetings relating to the implementation of the 1979 ECOWAS Protocol on Free Movement of Persons, Goods and Services and the Right of Residence and Establishment in Member States;
3. Covering issues on Human Development, Social Affairs and Gender Development;
4. Handling of issues with regard to Morocco’s ascension to ECOWAS;
5. Covering issues relating to ECOWAS Migration and Development;
6. Covering of all issues relating to ECOWAS-International Committee of the Red Crescent and the Red Cross (ICRC) Seminars;
7. Coordinate with the Documentation Centre/Officer for public information and sensitization campaigns;
8. Liaison with the Telecommunication and Information Technology Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
9. Covering of activities relating to the West African Health Organisation (WAHO);
10. Liaison with the Education, Science and Culture Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
11. Covering issues relating to Management of Joint Border Post;
12. Update of the Division’s website on activities of the Division and stakeholders;
13. Covering of issues on Infrastructure and liaising with the Infrastructure Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
14. Liaison with the Agriculture, Environment and Water Resources Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
15. ECOWAS Sensitization Programmes; and
16. ECOWAS Institutional Reforms.

6. Covering meetings and activities of the West African Gas Pipeline Authority;
7. Liaison with the Energy and Mines Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
8. Covering meetings on ECOWAS/EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) matters;
9. Covering issues of ECOWAS Business Forum;
10. Handling matters relating to the Inter-Governmental Action Group Against Money Laundering (GIABA);
11. Covering meetings on the implementation of the ECOWAS Monetary Zone and Customs Union;
12. Covering matters relating to the West African Monetary Zone (WAMZ);
13. Handling matters relating to ECOWAS Single Currency Programme;
14. Covering meetings and activities of ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), West African Monetary Institute (WAMI) West African Monetary Agency (WAMA);
15. Handling matters relating to the ECOWAS Common External Tariffs (CET).
16. Covering meetings and activities of the Specialized Technical Committees on Macro Economic Policy and Trade and Custom matters; 17. Welfare of Nigerians working at ECOWAS institutions;
18. Liaison with the Human Resources Department of the ECOWAS Commission;
